Vitolwing is a company that makes Flight Packs built for Civilian, Military and Hunter/Huntress use. Their Headquarters is stationed in Atlas.
History[]
Founded by Bronzeden Vitolwing, the company made its start in Atlas. After a rocky start, they were granted funds and a small facility to conduct research after they were noticed by scouters from the SDC. While they still remain independent, they were given the necessary Dust and Lien in order to make their designs a reality.
After holding many events showcasing their technology in the different Kingdoms (hosted and sponsored by the SDC, in some cases), many different people took interest in their products, ranging from Civilian Pilots to some Kingdom Officials and Private Military Companies to Hunters and Huntresses from all kingdoms and sales quickly rose.
While they did have mass produced packs that were much less expensive, could be fitted to most people and were easily replaceable, these were mostly bought only by the civilians and militaries. Hunters and Huntresses (including students aspiring to become as such) were not only given special deals for their products, but also mostly bought custom packs which were tailored to suit their fighting styles and needs in combat, even going as far as to put Hunters and Huntresses in the field with experimental craft that use new engines, fuel systems and things such as vectored thrust and forward swept wings.
About 16 years after the creation of Vitolwing Industries, Bronzeden Vitolwing (age 67) died when he was on his way to a meeting in Vacuo when his train was bombed by members of the White Fang. His successor has been kept a secret ever since, as nobody ever sees or hears him. Even in public addresses, they have him silhouetted and scramble his voice, much to the concern of people who work for them.
Nowadays, most tests are conducted over the tundras to the North West of Atlas and over the seas to the West. Recent eyewitness accounts claim to have seen a strange black flight pack being used that made their wearer travel at speeds that were previously unheard of and are thought to exceed Mach 3, though Vitolwing has denied any such craft existing.

Custom Models[]
FPXF-01 - Uses forward swept wings and vectored thrust to achieve a tight turn radius and major maneuverability to gain and maintain air and ground superiority on a battlefield. Owned by Aureole Falken.
FPA-10 - With a wide wingspan and two large engines, this pack was specifically designed to carry a heavy payload and have a low stall speed in order to make it easier to attack ground targets. While it was not a model made by or designed by Vitolwing Industries, it was made with parts and the same design in mind. Owned by Sabah Fairchild.
FPB-2 - A larger model that features a tailless design and stealth capabilities. It also features powerful engines that are built seamlessly into the sleek design while still keeping it in the air, even with large payloads. Owned by Charna Whiteman.
FPF-37 - An air superiority fighter with forward swept wings and minor stealth capabilities, it was among the first FSW designs released by Vitolwing Industries. It is built for speed and maneuverability, being able to outrun and out turn most conventional models. Owned by Esfir Solyom.
FPAC-130 - A very large flight pack that is one of the few to use propellers rather than jets, it is built to be slower and carry more heavy loads, rather than for speed. It has four engines and the wingspan is roughly the size of a smart car when unfolded. Used by Shula Whiteman.
FPB-52 - This flight pack boasts the largest wingspan to date, being the length of an entire bus each when unfolded. They have four sets of twin jet engines and, while they are slow, they can carry MASSIVE loads. Used by Damini Whiteman.
