Plot[]
The city of Xervia has fallen to pieces since the virus epidemic began. Homes were abandoned, lives were lost, and a deadlier threat than Gold Sword has surfaced. They call themselves "The Company," and set out to fulfill one common goal: annihilation. They seek to wipe out all who sustain the virus in their bodies, and cleanse the world of the great disaster. Thanks to their activities, those infected were forced to evacuate the city, and take shelter in the wilderness or the rural lands. Out there is a refugee camp, where the lost seek to rebuild what they held dear.

Main Characters[]
Saige Cristallo: A resident residing in the refugee camp, a graduate of Siren Academy, and the former leader of Team STRM. In the midst of an intense battle versus Akio, the leader of Gold Sword, she sustained horrible scars to the right half of her body. She was rushed to the hospital, where the virus infected her, and forced a horrible seizure upon her that induced suffocation and illuminated her open wounds bright blue. To save her life, a tracheotomy was performed, and to keep her Aura stable, a Dust crystal was implanted in the resulting hole between her collar bones. She was riddled with guilt afterwards for "not protecting her teammates well enough," and went into hiding with her Faunus siblings Sinya and Rhiver after she graduated from Siren. Five years later, she went to work for the refugee camp as a scavenger, oblivious that her siblings had followed her. A member of the Company cornered them and beat Saige down, before killing Sinya and Rhiver in front of her. In her rage, she decapitated him with her own bloody hands, and went back to the camp with a request—to become a contract killer. No man or Faunus in her opinion was 100% innocent or free of the deadly sins imposed on the world, and as such, she sought to deal justice, no matter how swift or painful it was.
Tara Rhys: A black market dealer, and a former member of Team STRM. In the battle against Akio, Tara's weapon was destroyed, and all the bones from the waist down were shattered, paralyzing her for weeks on end and prohibiting her from taking the graduation test at Siren. She almost died as a result of the virus's infection and her weak condition. In her anger, she made the bold decision to undergo a Dust fusion, which restored her lower skeletal system with the aide of new crystalline structures throughout her body. Some of these "structures" have branched out onto her upper cheeks and at the corners of her eyes. Tara isn't diligent about hiding it, but does so on occasion with a pair of sunglasses. After the ordeal and her dropping out, loose ends with the MacTavish family came back around, so Tara made it a goal to sever all ties with her past life the only way she knew how: gold, guns, and gore. She took up a new occupation dealing weapons and hunting down old associates of her parents, thereby getting scum (especially the Company) off her back for good and bathing her in cash to last for decades. Her ties with the MacTavish family are completely gone to this day, but she still takes pleasure in making a profit...and headlines in the newspaper.
Raine Shiba: A roamer, a hero, and a former member of Team STRM. Raine's entire left arm was severed in the fight against Akio, and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where he was informed he may never be able to fight again, albeit become a Huntsman. After being unable to graduate from Siren Academy, Raine decided he wanted to try and get his life back, and the only chance he had was the same route Tara was taking—Dust fusion. He was able to endure it much better than she could, and during the fusion, Dust crystals shot out from his empty arm socket, serving in place of a tool that seemed lost. Over the course of five years, Raine was able to hone his newfound asset, and craft/cut it in such a way that he practically had his old arm back. The only catch—it wouldn't stop glowing. Since then, Raine has had to wear long-sleeved shirts to avoid any possibilities of PDI, or Public Displays of Infection. To avoid attracting the Company, Raine decided to go and live off the land, traveling wherever he pleased, and making friends with whomever he deemed kind and accepting.
Macy Anumati: A shrine maiden, a married woman, and a former member of Team STRM. Macy didn't sustain major damage in the fight against Akio, though her weapon was completely destroyed, and the virus did not take such a heavy toll on her body. She was able to recover after dealing with the aftermath of a drastically spiked Aura, and the news that she wasn't able to use her Semblance anymore, much to her dismay. That didn't stop her from living a happy life, though. She was able to pass herself off as uninfected for a brief period of time to the Company, and reassured them that she was going to keep her distance. As such, Macy moved out to the countryside and settled down with a special someone.
Akio: A crime lord, a politician, and the most unsuspecting murderer no one knows of. Akio's battle with Team STRM five years prior resulted in a minor heasd injury, which at the time, no one knew was turning into a separate personality. He began to receive gaps in his memory at times after the virus broke out, and when he woke up, there were dead people at his feet. He was being chased by the authorities without knowing why, and he was making headlines left and right; after all, he'd personally shut down Gold Sword, and wound up murdering its primary members without knowing it was his own doing. He's been having dreams where he met his violent alter ago, someone who went by the name Akuro, and slowly succumbing to his bloodlusty influence. He currently seeks help from those who haven't lost their way, in hopes of finding an exit from his personal space of Hell.
Guadalupe: A former headmaster, a hero, and a ruthless leader. Guadalupe Wolfgang was in a state of turmoil when he learned the love of his life had been murdered by members of the Company. He had something of a mental breakdown and lashed out, slaughtering all in his path, virus-infected or not, for three dark months. After reading of his love's dying wish, he abandoned Siren Academy and went to work saving the lives of those targeted by the Company, hauling them all to a safe haven outside Xervia. He currently runs the refugee camp, and is intent on salvaging the population of Remnant...if not massacring the Compant first.
