The Guardsman Corps is the main constitutional body in charge of enforcing the laws imposed by the Atlas Kingdom within the large port city of Paix Bruyante.
History[]
The Corps was founded on the first day of the aftermath of Great War, under the rule of Governor Jack Bloodstone. Its budget is decided by the parliamentary votes, through Individuals can finance it and take its benefit of its protection. The Corps also control the Prison, primarily holding for Criminal and does not appreciate with the authority of the Shadowlight but have to cooperate with them.
The Corps built an academy in the large port city for the young people at around seventeen to nineteen to train to become next generation of the guardsman.
The Corps later upgraded during the Industrial Revolution; The Officer had their pistol upgraded with new, efficient version, and the introduction of the improved armor and the gun weapon powered by the dust for the Armored Guardian.
In the recent years, a serious of class uprising as well as a string of bizarre murder has tested the strength of city's line defense and the Public Organization, The Shadowlight, along with the Corps.
Ranks and Position[]
The member of the Guardsman Corps is separated into several ranks according to their importance, leadership, and fighting abilities. Moreover, certain positions and squad exist within which are assigned to the same tasks.
- Lower Guardsman - The Lower Guardsman consist almost basic soldiers among the Corps and equipped with a sword. Their positional responsibilities are to ensure the security of an important person.
- Guardsman - The regular guardsman wears protection and helmet over their uniform, they also equipped with a sword. They considered slightly more intelligent and Courageous than Lower Guardsman.
- High Guardsman Officer - They are assigned to command areas and ensure the protection of Citizens and structures important to the state. They were the skillful fighter and adept in the use of pistols. Recruited amoungst Nobles, they can be either Lieutenants, Captain, Majors or General.
- Elite Guardsman Warrior - They are the elite guardsman of the Corps. Their objective is to assist the Shadowlight order in their investigation or battlefield or act as the royalty protector to the Governor, but however, One of the Elite must be chosen by the Governor due to their skill, leadership, and courage.
- Aqua Patrol - They assigned to patrol the both sea and the river and to address smuggling and pirating activities.
- Armor Guardian - The Armor Guardian is a heavily armored guard and equipped with long and short-range weapons such as rifles, pistol, and small machine gun but with dust bullet. Their assessment is to eliminate the extremely threat such as Grimm and terrorism to ensure the safety of the city.

- Huntsman and Huntress - The Corps respected to the huntsman and huntress because they are the protector of light and the destroyer of darkness. However, they would not take it lightly to overwatch them and take action if they 'gone' to rogue because it always happened in the city, and handed to the Kingdom.
- Shadowlight - The Guardsman Corps assisted the Shadowlight and let the Shadowlight handle the threat that they could not deal before. The Shadowlight have a better quality equipment and weapon and more standard skill than the elite guardsman warrior.

- Dropper - The Dropper are the most dangerous mercenary assassin in the city. The Corps are having the problem of dealing them and failed to protect the important person: Mostly rich person, to the Dropper.
