The following is the log of a Chat RP done between myself (Delta) and Ray (Raytsan) in early October 2016 on the RWBY RP Discord server. While i don't normally post Chat RP logs on the main Fanon site like this, this RP deals with some rather important plot points and character development. Therefore i will post it on site for future reference in a drama/script form fanfic.

Description: In several previous RPs, Vale Vettel and Jasper Zec have started an unlikely romance following the Fall of Beacon, much to Vale's mother Violet "Vio" Vettel's disapproval. After several failed attempts at seperating them, Vio has had enough and decides on a final, desperate attempt at getting rid of Jasper :By kidnapping his loved ones to force him to leave, or die...
She has imprisoned Jasper's mother Safira on the roof of a skyscraper and invited our heroes to meet her there...

the destination is a skyscraper right in the heart of Vale. Vio waits for them on the rooftop. Nearby, the cage containing Safira dangles over the edge by a slim chain

Jasper : Finally reaches the top of the skyscraper, he then stood up after hopping from the ledge Gasps..YOU!!

Vale: she vaults onto the roof, then immediately freezes up at the sight of Vio

Vio: Hello child...

Vio: clicks a remote in her hand, causing the cage to plummet suddenly

Vio: stops the cage midair Try anything, you know what happens next...

Vio: chuckles Oh I'm not going to fight you...

Vio: Vale, kill him...

Jasper : Turns towards Vale You're not gonna do that right?

Her fists clench tightly at her side...
Vio: ...are you disobeying me?

Jasper : Sh-shut up!, Points at Vio, taunting her she's no longer your "puppet!"

Vio: Is that true child? You think I consider you a mere puppet? Remember who raised you, fed and clothed you Vale, made you perfect....
Vale: ...you did, mother

Jasper : You raised her to be an assassin, and i DON'T want that!! Points a dagger at Vio
Delta -
Vio: Look at him, Vale. Will you really stand by while a young upstart like him threatens your loving mother with a knife? Have you no loyalty?
Vale: ..................
she slowly turns to Jasper, fists still clenched

Safira : I don't know much about her, but something's off about her way of thinking!!..
Jasper : Thanks mom ^_^ .he then glares menacingly at Vio tell me this, where were you when Beacon fell?!!, huh??

Vio: Why, right here of course. Exterminating your kind... Huntsman

Vio: Perhaps, perhaps not...
Vio: Well Vale... Whats it going to be?

Jasper : I can't make you choose me, Vale, she is your mother...HOWEVER, you can see how sadistic your mother's intention was, right?

Vio: Sadistic perhaps, but justified. It was your kind who started this vendetta, I am simply delivering punishment to the ones who killed my love. Vale, don't you want to avenge your father?
Vale: Yes... I want to honour his memory, but...

Vio: Ah yes, "defenders", "heroes"... Vale, how often have those "heroes" attacked us? They call us monsters, villains, they only wish to see us dead or imprisoned, and take pride in our demise

Jasper : ?!!! Winces slightly

Vale's expression is unreadable as she raises her palm cannon to Jasper...

Jasper : No!, Vale, wait! Grips one of his daggers ..
Delta -
a small tear forms at the corner of her eye... The lightning beam arcs toward Jasper

Jasper : Gah!.. Jumps to his right side, the arc lighting hits the thin air Vale!!, snap out of it!!
Delta -
She lowers her head slightly, firing repeated bursts of the deadly beam

Jasper : Hops sky high and uses his semblance to change his trajectory into a dash towards Vale
Delta -
Vale: her claws extend, lashing out to kick Jasper midair
tsanimasterrace -
Jasper : He places his palm in front of him, performing a mid air handstand with the aid of his semblance, and dodging the claws, as the claw slashes the thin air, he pushes his body into a jump and dashes again, this time, he unsheathes both of his daggers to parry any melee attack
Delta -
Vale's claws glow a brilliant white... if Jasper tries to parry the next slash, he will simply find himself blasted backwards by an immense force

Jasper without hesitation parries the slash, and was blasted backwards, but little did everyone know, is a perk of his semblance....as he was blasted backwards, he flips the position of his body before activating his semblance, which literally neutralize the immense force, allowing him to rebound to his standing position..
Delta -
She darts in with a leg sweep and albow to the chest

Jasper was trained in martial arts and reflexes, especially submission.., she "parries" her leg with his own aura, before sending his palm towards the striking elbow, with his own strength, he pushed her elbow so hard, locking her whole arm in one go, she then holds her "hand cannon" firmly with the other hand
Jasper: Vale, Stop it!!
Delta -
in such close quarters, he can see her eyes glistening with tears...
The cannon fires a powerful jet of air, launching them both forward in an attempt to throw him off

Jasper : !!! Gasps and was hurled away, he then uses his semblance again to quickly recover..
Safira : Jasper!!
Jasper : I'm fine!, Vale..please, snap..out of it!!
Delta -
(listens to sad battle music)

Jasper : VALE!!.
Delta -
His reply is a high explosive fireball lobbed to him

Jasper : Rolls forward underneath the fireball and charges at her, preparing his daggers again
Delta -
Vio: ...excellent

Jasper : Grunts as he threw one of the daggers as distraction
Delta -
She falls for it, grabbing the dagger from the air

Jasper : Spins around, and performs a "mid air tornado kick"
(It's getting intense in here )
Delta -
Vale is thrown back by the tornado... sliding off the roof?!

(Its just a kick btw, not an actual tornado)
Jasper : Chases her Oh crap Uses his semblance to hop mid air, attempting to reach her body before it flew too far away from him
Delta -
Her own semblance kicks in, letting her stick to the building wall about 20 meters down

Jasper : Approaches her You okay?! His semblance is still activated, so he can stand in mid air..for now..
Delta -
Vale: Get away from me! Throws another fireball

Jasper : Hops away and grabs the ledge positioned next to her Kitty?!

she tries to twist around and shoot him again

Jasper : With his nimbleness, he jumps upwards and grabs another ledge Vale...Stop this?, what's wrong with you??

Vale: Stop... being so nice! You're making this harder than it should be!

Jasper : What are you saying??...and what do you mean by making this thing harder??!, i just need to know what's wrong with you, that's all!
Delta -
Vale: We're supposed to kill each other! Why won't you fight?!

Jasper : Because we love each other, remember?!..

Vale: ...

Jasper : ....Even though you want to kill me, i am not going to abandon my feelings just like that....i won't..

Vale: ............
aims the cannon at him again

Jasper : Go ahead, Vale...i'm not dodging that one this time...Stares at her

Her palm glows brighter and brighter...

Jasper : Still doesn't move even an inch i guess this is bid farewell..

Jasper : Groans as he was pummeled by the cannon fire, harshly into the ground...thankfully..there's aura, so it is not fatal, but the cannon fire did tremendous amount of damage to him.. ..../she's more loyal to her mother.../
Safira : !! , JASPEEEER !!! struggles LET ME GO, LET-ME...GO!!
Delta -
...she drops to the ground, steel claws twitching as she approaches his body
Vio: Silence woman! Watches intently ...do it....

Jasper : You're still beautiful......Smiles warmly at her, my he surely has grown a lot..
Jasper : Do what you must...kitty

Vale: ...she stands over his body, claws raised... and suddenly drop...

Jasper : Although his body is still traumatized by her cannon blast, he stood up and slowly forms a stance..his eyes focused at her mother

Vio: For your insolence... I will make your deaths slow and painful... And you Vale! You will watch, and learn the price of defying me!

Jasper : Shut uuuup!!! Charges at her with a flying kick

Vio: grabs the leg, using it to smash Jasper into the ground

Jasper : Groans and was pummeled into the ground, he then attempts to do a sweep kick to the leg

Vio: just jumps over it and stomps the leg as she lands

Jasper : Grunts and slashes her leg with his daggers

He only scores a shallow cut, but she kicks his knee hard... will it break?

Jasper : Not really, it damages his aura quite a bit though.. Grrh... He throws a dagger at her face

Vio: Opens up a portal, swallowing the dagger. He is left with only one weapon

Jasper : As she was focused on making the portal, he slashes her legs again
Delta -
Success! The dagger slices acoss her calves, drawing thin stream of blood. Vio jumps back to recover

Jasper : Rolls back and stood up, eyes locked at hers
Delta -
Vio: You enjoy parkour, correct? Jasper Zec... I will make sure you never walk again, then you will know how it feels to have everything you ever worked for... a piece of your soul stripped away!

Another portal opens below his legs, her Sai stab at his ankles

Jasper : His ankle was stabbed but in retaliation, He breaks her wrist with a submission move

Vio dodges the attack easily...
...but not the ensuing lightning bolt from Vale

Safira : I was about to ask Jasper the same thing, but seeing you both like this....i'll just spit it out.

Vale: ...okay

Jasper : Scoffs By the way mom, Dad is alive, but he's...different now....
Safira : Oh??? , you MET HIM?!
Jasper : We both had met him..
Jasper : Funnily enough...he wants her as a daughter in law...what a weirdo...chuckles, trying to endure the searing pain from his legs

Vale: Yes..

Safira : Well whaatever, he's good on his own anyways..cmon lets get you both back to the airship...Taps her comm device Report!, i've found Jasper.!!, and oh...requesting one extra seat for the airship..Winks at Vale

Vale: at last, a small smile paints her lips. She blinks back a tear and picks up Jasper, walking with him to a new future....
