Appearance[]
Aureolin or Lin as he like to be called is a young 16 years boy with already some hunting time behind him, you can see that is body is well trained for combat and survival. To cover his feets hands and forearms he use a dark blue thick bandage and he leaves his toes and fingers visible, he wear a white and dark blue harem pants, and a lighter blue piece of piece of tissue, he generaly use a red bandana to cover and hide the bottom of his face. His mid-length white hair is tied in a small ponytail at the back of his head even if he still has some crazy wick.
Personality[]
Aureolin is someone calm, he always take the time to ask and discuss with anyone, even with his opponents during a fight, he looks like he is always "head in the clouds" but he holds all that he sees and all that is said to him. When he has to be serious in critical situations he then becomes of an icy and scary calmness then speaking absolutely no longer and concentrating only. When he was a kid is best friend was a Faunus so he doesn't realy understand people who dislike them and kick the hell out of people who discriminate them.
Weapons[]
Aureolin's main weapon is a bat / sword named Akan, this weapon is made of some golden material and contains a Sand Dust Crystal in the lower-middle of the blade. When Lin puts Aura in Akan he becomes capable of manipulating sand in many ways. Akan is very close to Suna and can't work without it.
Aureolin's second "weapon" is Suna, Suna is a hourglass made out of extremely pure Sand Dust Crystal, it's a masterpiece and a unique artifact from ancient time, when Aureolin puts Aura in Suna, the hourglass rotate and sand soaked with Aureolin Aura begins to escape from it. The sand who comes out of this hourglass is much more easily manipulated by Aureolin and much more "powerfull" but the more Aureolin needs sand the more that will suck his aura until he collapse if he creats to much sand. The special hourglass capacity described in the story is something that Aureolin has never been able to reproduce since.
Semblance[]
Sand Waterfall Hourglass is the name of Aureolin's semblance, this semblance allows him to activate Suna and to control the sand with Akan, he can almost make every shape out of sand and make it move as if it were alive. He can go from attack to defense in a flash and surprise his ennemy with fast counter.
Background[]
Aureolin is a child who used to live in Tuff, he lived with his grandfather who was an archaeologist looking for all sorts of objects in the desert. Aureolin’s parents died when he was young because of an incurable disease. One day his grandfather invited him to go on a treasure hunt when Aureolin was old enough to survive alone if they encountered a sandstorm. They both left then in the desert and when we speak of the devil...a sandstorm fall on them without warning, Aureolin lost his grand-father from sight and decided to continue and maybe find shelter, he fell on ruins which it seemed rather old and entered to shelter, the ruins had been revealed by the giant sandstorm. What luck for Aureolin, his grandfather had never found anything and him on his first expedition he finds a tomb, what luck ... Aureolin then sinks into the building, by chance or by bad luck the traps were all defective and didn’t activate on the passage of the young boy sinking more and more. Aureolin then fell to the end of the road on a treasure room but without "treasure", there were only two things, a sort of gold sword and a big weird crystal hourglass, Aureolin approached and retrieved the only treasure of the coin, no trap here either. Leaving the storm was over, he decided to return to the camp, when he arrived he joined the house of his grandfather who had returned because of the sandstorm, he took his grandson in his arms thinking that he was lost in the desert and he cried out with joy at seeing that he had succeeded in doing the work of his life, finding artefacts. They were dancing... but at that moment, Grimms began to attack the camp, their joy disappeared quickly in the cries of terror of the inhabitants who were fleeing and they had to flee too, his grandfather took the hourglass , the sword and ordered his grandson to follow him and run because his life depended on it. They then went out and started fleeing the village in the direction indicated by some other villager, seeing that his grandfather was struggling to run he then took the gold sword to relieve him of a charge but they were not fast enough, a Grimm caught and charged them, the grandfather just had time to push his grandson before being sent tens meter back, the hourglass fell into the sand next to Aureolin who got up immediately and look for his grandfather, the Grimm was standing right next to his grandfather, and the grandfather was looking at Aureolin smiling, he muttered to run to his grandson, the Grimm raised his big paw, and sliced the old man in half, all at once ... Aureolin's heart stopped beating for a moment, unconsciously his Aura was released and start spreading in the sword and in the hourglass that was at his feet, Aureolin uttered a cry of rage and sadness as he ran towards the Grimm to hit him with the golden sword, the hourglass once filled with Aureolin Aura spun and the sand began to flow ... Aureolin could not move, like all things around him, he began to back off when he wanted to move forward but he did not go back down, he was running backwards, the time was backtracking and he came back when he had just been pushed by his grandfather. Aureolin remembered what had happened and he was still under the influence of his raging Aura, he got up a lot faster and immediately rushed towards Grimm, while Aureolin was going to be able to hit him, to stop the Grimm from being able to kill the old man ... too late he died again under the eyes of Aureolin who slashed the blade on Grimm's head, he wanted to go back in time again, he could do it ... he knew ... the hourglass obeyed him and reversed the course of time once again, he had to be faster, more alive, more agile, more nervous ... Aureolin saw his grandfather die about twenty times and he began to be very very tired, his legs were hard as concrete and his heart was beating as if he was going to die ... he could not do it anymore, every times he go back in time it cost him a huge amount of Aura and he didn’t recover from the run he made 20 times. With every new test he was going away, he was getting slower, he was losing more time, he had to get there by all means. It was his last attempt, he had already tried everything...no...not one thing, he got up and ran towards the Grimm who was going to shoot down his claws, he then gives a vertical stroke scraping the ground putting all his hate, his sadness and his despair, if he could send sand in the eyes of the monster maybe he would miss, that was his last option ...But something unexpected happened then, the sand rushed towards the head of Grimm but it then took the form of a peak that pierced the cranium box of the monster and impaling it in a house further, Aureolin fell on his knees next to his grandfather on the verge of fainting, his grandfather, even if he was wounded, got up and took without thinking his little son who was firmly holding the sword and the hourglass and ran away with him . He later told his grandfather what had happened after sleeping for more than 3 days in a row, so his grandfather told him to keep it secret and not to tell anyone. Aureolin was a little different now, he still kept his character but the images of his dead grandfather will forever be engraved in his memory. He grew up and trained to use his artefacts, so he quickly became a bounty hunter but when his extraordinary ability to always succeed at a young age made him stand out, he was contacted then to undergo a special training and then become a Hunter but he doesn't want to team up with anyone, he knows that if something bad happens he will see his comrades die countless times.
